I Burned myself today,
and it made me think of you.
How you wouldn’t want to touch me,
for fear my outsides had become as delicate as my insides.
That I might finally crumble beneath your touch.
That I would flake and chip away kiss by kiss
‘till I was
No more.
You needn’t worry so,
because you already love a burned girl.
Cinnamon singed ochre licks at the edges of my being.
Bleeds through the brown of murk-filled eyes.

Hey I was wondering.. how do you change your little tag things? Yours says this is Literature/Poetry/General Poetry/Free Verse. Mine just says that it's personal. I've tried to change it but it won't let me.
